Remember, you cannot return titles directly from the Audible app. You must use the website to initiate the return process.

As long as they meet the eligibility requirements, Audible Premium members have the option to return audiobooks and get their credit back. This option lets you return titles purchased in error or explore different narrators and stories risk-free. You can return an audiobook on the Audible site.

Eligibility requirements

• You must be an active Audible Premium member in good standing.
• You’re making the return within 365 days of its purchase date.
• You purchased the title with an Audible credit.

Notes: 

• We reserve the right to limit the number of returns or revoke return privileges at our discretion. Based on your return history, the self-service refund option may not be available. Audible may cancel or modify the terms of our returns option with respect to any or all participants at any time. Customers who cancel or fail to maintain their membership in good standing are not eligible to make returns. This return option doesn’t affect any rights you have under consumer law. This return option does not affect the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal or other consumer rights.
• Titles selected as part of the monthly audiobook selection of the Audible Standard subscription are not subject to the right of return.

Returns may only be made through the same method in which you purchased the title. For example, if you purchased a title through the Google Play Store, you can only return that title through the Google Play Store customer service.

How do I return an audiobook?

You can only return titles through the Purchase history page on the Audible website. After confirming your return, the credit used will be added back to your account. 

Notes:

• Refunded credits will expire 12 months after being issued, regardless of the original credit type.
• When returning titles purchased as part of the 2-for-1 offer, both titles from the purchase must be returned in order to receive the credit back.

Desktop

1. Select your username from the site's top navigation.
2. Select Purchase history.
3. Next to the title you want to return, select Return this title.
4. Confirm the return.

Mobile

1. Open a web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your mobile device.
2. Go to www.audible.de and sign in to your account.
3. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines), then tap the greater than symbol (>) next to your name.
4. Select Purchase history.
5. Find the title you want to return and tap on it.
6. Select Return this title.
7. Confirm the return.
