You may notice some titles in your Library have a 🔒 lock icon next to them. Here's what that means and what you can do.

Why do I see locked titles in my Library?

Titles can become locked in your Library for different reasons:

Your membership has ended

If your Audible membership has ended, titles you previously had access to as part of your membership will be locked. This includes all free titles included in the membership for former Premium members and monthly audiobook selections for former Standard members.

When you try to play these titles, you will see a message that the title is no longer available. However, you can still purchase that title if you'd like to own it, or become an Audible Premium member to regain access. If no purchase options are available, we no longer carry the title.

Note: For former Audible Premium members, this includes titles that were part of the catalogue of free titles inluded in the membership. For former Audible Standard members, this includes any monthly audiobook selections.

Titles unavailable in the catalogue of free titles inluded in the membership

For Audible members, if you see a 🔒 lock next to a title in your Library, it means that the title is no longer included in the catalogue of free titles inluded in the membership and has since been removed. However, you can still purchase that title with credit/debit card or an Audible credit if you'd like to own it. If no purchase options are available, we no longer carry the title.

What is the difference between purchased titles and included titles?

Titles you purchased with cash or credits remain permanently in your Library as long as they're available on Audible.
Titles you added to your Library without using credits (by selecting Add to Library as a Audible Premium member or Select as monthly title as a Audible Standard member) are only available while:

• You have an active membership (not paused or canceled).
• If you are an Audible Premium member and the title you added is part of the catalogue of free titles inluded in the membership.
• If the title is going to leave the catalogue of free titles inluded in the membership you will seean Included until label next to the title on the title's detail page, the home screen, and the search results page.
